I owned a ‘73 Dart. Worst pile of sheet metal I’ve ever owned. I seem to remember that the first year and a half was OK and after that it was in the shop every 8 to 10 weeks. It was only 5 years old when the driver side wheel just fell off while pulling out of the driveway; ball joint failure. That car was nothing but a money pit that I could never take on long trips for fear of it breaking down. We replaced it with a New Yorker.
My dad had the Dart hauled away when a relative passed and her Toyota became available.
