The one year anniversary of the tragic shooting in Tucson, AZ last year in which Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords and 12 others were wounded, and six (including a federal judge and nine-year old Christina-Taylor Green) were killed passed by on Sunday in a respectful manner.
That ended today when DNC leader Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, aka "Thunderlips," did what I feared might happen...used the tragedy again to slander the Tea Party movement ....
We need to make sure that we tone things down, particularly in light of the Tucson tragedy from a year ago, where my very good friend, Gabby Giffords who is doing really well, by the way, [was shot], Wasserman Schultz, the Democratic National Committee chair said during a Politics and Eggs forum this morning. The discourse in America, the discourse in Congress in particular . . . has really changed, Ill tell you. I hesitate to place blame, but I have noticed it take a very precipitous turn towards edginess and lack of civility with the growth of the Tea Party movement.
Interestingly, it was a year ago tomorrow that Richard Milhous Obama lectured the nation about talking to each other "in a way that heals, not in a way that wounds," as well as "living up to our childrens' expectations."
So just who has been engaging in or excusing uncivil rhetoric over the last year, Debbie? It isn't the Tea Party. The following video compilation was created just for your benefit.
Have you no shame, you hypocrite?

She hesitates to place blame....wow...she fights the urge with all within her.
I am sure that tomorrow Boehner et al will be out and defending the Tea Party and admonishing Washerwoman for not hesitating enough.
It’s a tough job to have to smile and lie for a living but she does it so well.
