This little snippet from last night's Iowa caucus coverage is just a taste of what Fox News served last night. Ed Rollins summed up their praise for SuperPACs quite well here. I only have one remaining question: Why is Karl Rove still employed by Fox?
Key point by Rollins:
BAIER: We were talking tonight about SuperPACS and how much they're going to play. If there is a lot of support that coalesces around Santorum as the conservative alternative, SuperPACs could play in places like New Hampshire or South Carolina.
ROLLINS: SuperPACs can play anywhere at this point in time and the master, obviously, is my friend Mr. Rove, who has basically put together a better campaign of SuperPACs than anybody's ever done in history for a Presidential campaign.
Rove, of course, spent his evening working very, very hard to convince Fox viewers that Romney should and ultimately would win by hook or by crook.
No one is more upset about SuperPACs right now than Newt Gingrich, given the Romney campaigns judicious use of them in Iowa to pull Gingrich down to the second tier with a barrage of negative ads. Content and justification for it notwithstanding, there is no question that Romney has the support of the party faithful and original architects of the SuperPAC structure, born out of the Citizens United ruling in January, 2010.

Yep. If that was a dem vs rep election the screams around here would be deafening.
I am convinced there is a connection between Rove, Forti and the Romney campaign
and Obama, axelrod and the rest of the gangbangers. They’re all in the same bed taking turns
Backstabber, FLIP-FLOPPER, Chameleon Milt:
"I bet you $10,000 that I will be as conservative as Kennedy or McCain."
"Could Typo Rewrite Caucus History? (Santorum may regain win)"
If I was a gambler I would put my money on Romney, before putting all my winning on Obama. But I am not a gambler, I am a conservative, and money will not buy my vote. Romney can be beaten, money and power alone cannot buy you a constituency (ask Hillary about that). The Libs said no to Hillary despite the power and money being behind her, we can do the same with Romney if only we were united behind an opposing candidate.
*sigh* Palin *sigh*
Bingo! That’s why the big push for Romney by the Bushies - Jeb in 2016.
I will NEVER vote for another Bush.
Mr. K, i think there is a bit of confusion here, we know that even in Republican Hands, that the RINO’s will side with the Democrats(AKA Gang of 6 or 14) to stop any Conservative Senate to be a Successful Senate.
Right now I think the public would vote for Donald Duck if he provided jobs and made the economy better. Remember why Clinton got elected twice even though he had so many scandals. I say the focus has to be on Romney’s poor record of creating jobs, and whatever else he has done to cause stagnation and failure. Powerful ads such as that will scare people.
i think that is the BIGGEST reason i dont want Romeny, especially with a republican congress.
Bush had a republican congress and they went along with the biggest increase in social programs since Welfare.
If we had a republican congress but refused to vote for Romney it would send the GOP a message NOT saddle us with any more RINOS and we could veto everyting he did, and stuff Obamacare back down his throat
