Here is one reason I supported Gov. Rick Perry at the Iowa caucus: Gov. Perry served as an aircraft commander from 1972-1977, flying C-130s in Central and South America, North Africa and all over Europe, including Iran.
Who would you rather have dealing with Iran, Perry or Obama? Anyway, Perry retired in 1977 with the rank of Captain.
