Thanks for setting section9 straight - your post was exactly what I was going to say - until I saw that you had already said it.

It’s not about Palin or the Republicans or anything or anyone else - it’s about us, and if we “punish” a party or whatever then it is us, NOT the party, who really suffers.

Ditto. By far the best response in the thread.

Lately, I have stopped posting against the candidates running this time.

After some soul searching, there are none of them anywhere near as awful and destructive as that thing in the WH. It isn’t even just about Obama. It is his Constitution circumventing czars, judges, cabinet appointees, SCOTUS picks, gay promoters, crony socialists, and downright criminals that surround him.

I can’t in good conscience sit back and pretend that 5 years from now there will be much left to save if this cabal of communists don’t get ousted this time. If it does not happen there will only be one way left to get rid of them, and people really don’t want that to happen.

I am not on fire for any of the GOP field, but I will not sit back and give it all up allowing Obama to continue because I am in a snit.

We had a chance early to to get behind a conservative that was running, instead will abused the ones that did enter the race. Blaming the Tea Party(people who are a number of groups only united by the original intent) is downright stupid. When folks showed up for those events, it was not because they came to support a candidate, they came to stand up, speak out, and let the government know they were not going to sit back quietly anymore. For some, it was the first time they ever participated in anything like that.

I was proud of all of us.

punish a party? LOL Nothing on this Earth will get me to cast a vote for the fraud who is Mitt. The GOP will punish the good citizens of our Republic by pushing arrogant, statist elites upon us.

The entire system is rigged against limited government. In a rational world, there is no way Iowa and the arrogant "folks" in NH would be the driving forces for sidetracking Conservatives.

Never again will I cast a vote for Statists. If our Republic is to be destroyed, let it be by the left, not the girly statists on the right.

Even is we win with a Conservative in 2012 (a miracle) the best thing to happen is to utterly destroy the GOP politically and build a new party.
