Yes, he did back off. It makes me a bit nervous that someone was able to get him interested in these wacko ideas................

Maybe he learned something from the experience.

Over the course of the years, I have seen that much of the stuff Perry gets beat up for is stuff the he is forced to deal with.

NAFTA etc

He has always stayed on the side of the people.

He nixed the TTC due to public outcry and now Mexican truckers have free reign of all our roads due to NAFTA.

Po ol Perry got a bad rap, he tried to meet the letter of the law by making a TTC corridor.

I disagreed with a lot of it, Particularly jobs going to Cintra rather than Texans.

But now we have something worse.

If a guy who was interested in some pretty wacky ideas makes you nervous, how do feel about the brain trust guy who actually thinks them up and commits them to paper in a dozen books?
