Sort of like zotting supporters of certain political candidates - it makes some people feel better - allows them to claim certain conservative attributes in online social circles, but really doesnt accomplish a whole lot other than that. Free Republic is the private property of Jim Robinson. It is a conservative, grassroots, activist site. Posters are here at the discretion of the owner. Those that do not support conservatives are shown the door. Them's the rules!

I never argued the point you replied to. My point is that you can remove posters who have a particular affinity for certain candidates but it accomplishes nothing for the conservative cause. Not really. Conservatives are still unrepresented, for all intents and purposes in the GOP.
