Ann Coulter has become a Republican first and conservative second, and surrendered principle over pragmatism. She would support Obama if he was on the GOP ticket.
Never cared for her. AC was good at the occasional jab; good not great. The rest was her image and an ability to parlay it into a cult of personality in her limited conservative market.
(Conservatives swear they are above personality cult attachments. Their idols are deserving, doncha know.)
Men in particular will always find much to admire in the mind of a tall slim woman in a little black dress. No matter how she stinks of tobacco and dates Bill Maher. And bet your bottom dollar, they’d love her still, Mittens-smitten and all the other warts, if she were not menopausal.
She needs to read some of her own books from 10 years ago. Maybe, watch a few of her old interviews.
I think she tanked around the time she started attacking people who questioned Obama’s eligibility. Something changed in her and she has not been the same.

We don't know. We don't know that Romney won't pull the rug out from under the Pubbie base just so he can be liked. Would he be better than Obama? That isn't saying a heck of a lot. Why should we vote for you Mitt? Huh, give us a good reason.

Will no longer listen to her on TV or radio, nor buy her books, and will convince hundreds of bedrock conservatives I know to not only do likewise, but to also ask 10 of their friends as well to shut her down and isolate her for her betrayal of the cause. Follow the money. There you will more than likely find the motivations.

In order for Ann to come up with this argument, she had to throw away a lot of possible counters. She had to find two single-issues that would be pluses for her guy Romney, and negatives for the only true conservatives in the race, Bachmann and Santorum. Now, whether or not what she says is truthful about the two conservatives, it is mind-numbingly obvious that what she is saying about Romney is unprovable because it is basically a forecast.
