Charles Krauthammer proposed an interesting solution last night on Fox. He suggested that Boehner leave the Bill intact, but just change the expiration date from February 29, 2012 to December 31, 2012, send it to the White House, and dare Obama to veto it.
If Obama is in Hawaii he’ll have to return or the Bill becomes LAW in ten days. Hope Boehner was watching Fox News.
Boner was probably having a drink at his favorite watering hole. The only way he was watching Fox is if it was on the TV over the bar but the sound was probably turned down.

Probably good PR but then there would be no spending offsets to pay for the extra ten months. A ‘Cutting off your nose to spite your face” act.
So the Repubs introduce a bill next year....
"The JFK Memorial Tax Law" on on the anniversary of his passing....rolling all the taxe rates back to those days....
