When Lawton Chiles was running for governor of Florida, he had his Democrat minions calling up senior citizens and lying as to what Jeb Bush would do to their benefits if he became governor.

When caught and brought to testify the Democrats insisted they didn’t lie about what they were doing. They lies were actually “purposeful misstatements”.

I’m not lying. Or making purposeful misstatements.

I hope Sen. Grassley can find a way to make these records secure for the future. Ten, twenty, thirty years from now, the Democrats will claim the whole of F&F was a lie and never happened. They’ll destroy the records if they can. They’re patient. They’ll wait until the attention dies down, in a decade or so.

Is it usual for agents to write reports about their own action in third person?

There is a very brave individual in the DOJ that’s handing these docs to SSI. I bet Eric Holder has already given orders to figure out who that is.

This gun is smoking like a Churchill cigar. This one letter is loaded with incriminating testimony.

There certainly seem to be plethora of “special” agents.

If I'm understanding what Styers said correctly, there was a purposeful effort to distribute the task of doing "traces" on Fast and Furious weapons as a means of making sure that particular people would be informed if a later trace was done.

The only reason I can see for such a distribution of effort would be to hide the magnitude of the program from ATF employees and others so that future traces could be treated as isolated events and cover stories could be created as needed to fit the details of each case.

This is a powerful revelation and reveals a "consciousness of guilt" on the part of the organizers of Fast and Furious. What other possible explanation would there be for such handling of the traces?
