You have to become the former in order to become the latter. Perry is, as his poll numbers show, a horrible candidate. Horrible candidates do not win nominations nor do they win elections.
I still feel however that Perry would make the best president, if not the best candidate of those running currently.
How many elections has Perry been in? How many has he won? How many has he lost? OH, yea, I think he’s never lost.
