Anything come out of the House on this? So far, only the Senate bill is being talked about.

The House passed its version in May. I don't know if their version had language to protect citizens. The MSM is not covering this (imo). The Senate bill must now be reconciled with the House-passed version (H.R.1540).

Senate version passed 93 o 7 at the end of November.
