Mr. Lobo, the new President of Honduras fires all the heads of Police & Security agencies. New Chiefs.

He visits Obozo in the White Hut.

He was seeking advice on police matters.

Obozo stated in his campaign he wanted a U.S. police force funded as well as the military.

Now Honduras is using it's military in police matters. (I almost understand with the drug related violence)

Somehow I just don't believe this will end well.

Under a team combination of a Conservative Republican US Administration, and a non-communist Honduran administration (certainly not under that deposed red Zelaya), then maybe something good would come of this. Certainly it would ruffle the feathers of both Ortega in Nicaragua and Chavez in Venezuela. But with Obozo in charge, one never knows what they will end up doing.

Major boon for the drug cartels. If Mexico is any indication, the people of Honduras are in big trouble. It seems our government is neck deep into the drug business, has been for years, but they are no longer even trying to hide it.

We need a Naval Base in Haiti—heck we have paid them enough over the years and it would put there people to work—it might be better than Gitmo.

counternarcotics efforts.

Those never accomplish anything but to inflate traffickers' profit margins.
