I personally think the question should be.
“How did Herb handle the attacks?”
Hell Ma Cain didn’t even know about the financial payements that Herb admitted to paying Ginger White over the years. When you start hiding personal matters from your wife then what else will you hide?
He obviously cheated on his wife.
You can tell by how she left him then filed for divorce.
