LOL, it was a live fire exercise using video scenarios... and yes, she shot the dog, then the crackhead. She got the highest score.
Getting back to your post... assault is assault, no matter your age, agility, ability, size, stature, or gender. If a kick in the nuts isn't acceptable as a defense, then we have to teach our kids to poke out eyes, break knees, and stifle breathing. I highly recommend it, though a kick in the crotch would be good too... except maybe in Massachusetts.
If someone assaults you, the rule book goes out the window. I cannot believe the assaulter ended up being the victim and the poor kid he was assaulting ended up with performing a sex crime cause he kicked him in the crotch...truly crazy..
