True Conservative? Ron Paul attacks Newt
Flopping Aces ^ | 11-30-11 | Curt

Scathing ad released by Ron Paul about Gingrich:

[VIDEO AT SITE] or HERE

But am I alone here in asking why no one is going after Romney? Bachmann gets hot, the media and her competitors hack away. Perry gets hot, and they hack away. Cain gets hot....bam! Now we're on to Gingrich but who the hell is hacking away at Romney? Mighty curious.

As for the ad itself, it's definitely information people should mull over before pulling the lever for Newt but I'm with Ace's rant here (always long winded but well worth the read)

....our choices suck:

...We don't have a Pure Conservative in the race. (Possibly the unelectable Bachmann, but only because she's only been in office since shortly before the outbreak of the Tea Party, and really has never been asked to do anything except play to the Tea Party. And, meanwhile, she and her husband's clinics scooped up all the federal and state money they could.)

I guess I don't have a point except to say I really don't think it is useful or true to debate these guys in terms of "The True Conservative I Can Get Behind."

None of them are that. None. So the Quest for the Pure True Conservative can and should end, and we should stop talking about such nonsense and start talking, seriously, about the imperfect candidates we have.

Great ad by Ron Paul. Totally exposes Newt for the lying d-bag he is. I'll never vote for that arrogant narcissist. No way.

Does Ron think this is going to help his campaign in any way? If he does, he’s nuttier than I thought. If he doesn’t, then I don’t understand the purpose of this ad.

"Does Ron think this is going to help his campaign in any way?"

Paul is bigger than that. He wants to help America.

Great ad by Ron Paul

Ron Paul is not just weird, he is scary weird. The nut hated Ronald Reagan, so it is time for true conservatives to tell it like it is: Ron Paul is the dangerous one.

We don’t have a horse in the race.

The Establishment is ecstatic over it. They did a great job of smearing and destroying Cain.

You’re right that Bachmann is the closest to it. Don’t believe the media spin that she is unelectable, because if the Tea Party gets behind anyone 100%, they will have a chance. Not being in office and part of the corrupt political system for long is a plus. We need to look into what really happened with the clinics.

I don't think he' dangerous or scary. Weird? I think his high-pitched voice makes him seem a little weird. Other than that, I don't think he's that weird.

I think you've got your facts wrong about Paul re: Reagan. I think he supported Reagan.

I ideologically, Bachmann is the best candidate. She just doesn’t have the right temperament for the job.

We need to face it - it is a poor field of candidates. Most of us are probably going to have to just swallow hard and support someone that we really don’t care for.

Other than calling people who dare to disagree with you “weird” and “nuts” and “dangerous” do you have any actual arguments that use facts and evidence?

Newt made big bucks advising entities on their lobbying efforts with Congress but was not a lobbyist himself. What is so frickin hard to understand? It’s disappointing to see some of our own ranks so emotionally invested in their own preconceived notions that they are unwilling to take a closer look at what was actually going on. So much hate and disrespect is flowing here and much of it based upon a face value understanding of the facts(and not just on the topic of Fannie and Freddie)... embarrassing!

Fraud Paul, the Moderate Libertarian doesn't have room to talk.

Ron Paul On The Issues

Newt on the issues

How does Gingrich end up on the east side of “Right Conservative” when he supported amnesty, the individual mandate, climate change measures, TARP, lambasted Ryan’s budget control measures as “right-wing” social engineering, backed Dede Scuzzifuzzi, etc., etc., etc.?

He is the most consistent of all the candidates. With him, I think we would have a good idea of what he will do in the WH. There is something to knowing a person, and not just knowing what a politician says.

Moderate Libertarian

You've misunderstood that grid. "Moderate" and "Libertarian" are separate categories; Paul's score is no more "Moderate Libertarian" than Newt's is "Moderate Conservative."

Yeah, he is a truther. He also gives comfort to our enemy Iran. He is a nut, and every debate he proves the fact.

Does Ron think this is going to help his campaign in any way?

You going to support Perry?

Dallas Texas, 2006:

Under Rick Perry as Governor of Texas, and President Bush, from Texas at the Federal level, as 500,000 illegal aliens march on Dallas Texas, waving foreign flags in their faces, while making demands and threats.

From what I’ve seen, he supported Reagan. Then, when Reagan signed budgets with massive deficits, he rightly criticized him for it.

Ron Paul is a nut. He called Reaganomics “warmed-over Keynesianism.” That is crazy talk. Add to that the latent anti-Semitism. If the nut runs 3rd party, will all the Paulites still love him when we get 4 more years of the Marxist Obama?
