The more accusations that cannot be proved that come out the less people will believe it. Keep them coming. The more that come out the more donations he gets.
I wish that was true, but the polls clearly don’t support that.
This is so stupid. When I read her account on another thread and then this thread - I can see it - the ‘IT’ being a friendship with the opposite sex, while he has a strong marriage - ‘nothing to hide’. The LIES part of all of this is her saying there was a physical(SEX) part of it. Who’s going to know/believe otherwise?
It’s a sad but true reality that a righteous man, with a strong marriage, can indeed have a 13 year friendship with a woman, and go see her/support her and be with all as she ‘mostly’ stated, but then it get twisted into something it’s not.
That’s why so clearly the Bible admonishes us to avoid the appearance of evil. Human Nature will concock stories in our minds to fill in the blanks.
Sad.
Seriously, does CNN even make an effort to VERIFY her story before making it a news item ??

They were all over this story, showed a clip of this woman, etc. One of the lines in their story was that he “called her in the wee hours”, accompanied by a graphic showing some dates and times of phone calls. Flashed very quickly, but the clock time that I saw was something like 6:21 AM. Wee hours.
FOX, the Romney station, interviewed Cain this morning. I don’t watch Fox and Friends — or much else on Fox these days — but the husband was watching it on DVR. He called to me to let me know that Cain would be on, so I did watch that segment.
Prior to the interview, they showed some poll that had Cain in 3rd place with 16 or 17% while Romney and Gingrich were in the 20’s. Yet, while Cain was talking they had a banner under his image that said something like “Cain is distant third”. They alternated that banner with another negative banner during the entire interview. I was livid. They make me sick.

Correct! She stated that Cain arranged flights and hotel reservations to many cities. It would be easy, I think, to investigate flight and hotel reservations.
