Extreme Home Makeover and ABC Pulling a Bait and Switch.
The Morton Report ^ | 11/28/11 | Pat Fish

Posted on 11/28/2011 5:02:10 AM PST by Fishtalk

This article, written by me as the whole thing happened within two miles of my home, is NOT on my Blog. I thought about putting my story up on FreeRep because there's some really interesting stories about this woman that came to light AFTER I wrote the article. People have been stealthily emailing me all sorts of things.

This episode of Extreme Home Makeover aired the Friday before Thanksgiving. Some of you might have seen it.

For now let me tell you of one story I've been getting, don't know it it's true, but this ladies' son, who got his own house on this episode, went to school with Michelle Obama's brother.

The builders, the Schell Brothers, are up to armpits with the Dems in this state and received millions from Obamer's stimulus fund.

This is another example of how clever you got to be to re-distribute the wealth.

It's much nicer for the owner/operator if she can have her "soup kitchen" in an upscale neighborhood, especially when she lives in the same beautiful building.

If they're hungry enough, they'll find her, or not. Whatever.

It's a beautiful home. Location. Location. Location.

“Bible” should always be capitalized.

“My own church regularly contributes part of its offertory tithe to the Juust Sooup ministry. As a member of my church finance council, I always voted for such contributions”.

As you sow, so shall you reap.

I saw that episode, very tear jerking... I am now bummed out because a part of me wants to believe there are really good people.

And since Michelle Obama was on this show once, this doesn’t surprise me at all.

Don’t see many stories out of Delaware. I forget it’s up there.

Hi, Fishtalk...long time since last election, yah?
Thanks for this as there always seems to be “the rest of the story” in a lot of things...
When I lived near DC, I was involved in politics in a small way and man, the “rest of the stories” I would hear about stuff in the news was amazing!
Example: just how many “spouses” of politicians cash in on the access to power behind the scenes - stunning!
No surprise the O’bummers dived right in...
Cheers!

I have 2 words for you that might help you remember: "Joe Biden."

I wish I could forget him!

Indeed, Michelle O was on that show the week before this one of which I write.

The Obamers own ABC outright it seems.

Lookit, it sure would be nice if these Dunning people were totally unselfish and giving as depicted on the show.

She says that she serves soup in other places but these past few weeks I’ve been doing a lot of investigating (and given a lot of inside info by tipsters that would shock you all) and she does not serve soup anywhere else that anyone can divine. A look at the sign says plainly soup served only on Thursdays from 11am to 2 pm.

The bigger intriguing part of all this is that a little city of tents sprung up all behind that so-called soup kitchen but the county finally put it out. How many tents could six acres hold.

Six acres given by...tada...The Schell Brothers and the stories about them would curl your hair.

I do not care if she has a soup kitchen two miles from my house but let me emphasize that not a single business along that route is allowed sit-down “uninvited” diners, either the so-called hungry or restaurant patrons. There are commercial kitchens permitted along that route and the “Reverend” Dunning got a permit.

If you remember, ABC never showed the dining room of that new “soup ranch”, and this is because it is HUGE, big enough to seat over fifty people comfortably. She sure can invite fifty people or more to her home to sup, so can I. But like the zoning people told her both BEFORE and AFTER that thing was built, she cannot serve those not specifically invited.

I just want this put on FreeRepublic to warn the very people who I don’t think would be surprised at this kind of shenanigan by the Democrats and because I don’t think we’ve heard the last of this “reverend”.

They’ll overturn that zoning ruling some way, some how, and I’m sure there’s big plans for those six acres. Maybe a nice tent city like the Occupy Wall Streets.

How the Schell Brothers got those six acres is also a shocker but I’m going to stop for now.

Just another way the Dems pee upon our feet, smile, and tell us it’s raining.

Re-distributing wealth takes patiences, planning and cleverness.

EHM is pretty much all a fraud. Very Obama-like.

Just like Obama and Marxism and OWS-ism.
Behavioral economics doesn’t exist in fantasy land. There is a dark side to giving lots of home equity (e.g. money) to individuals that might not be accustomed to having it, much less, giving them a massively upgraded home and expect them to pay for the upkeep and maintenance after the TV cameras shut down.

I can understand that the show’s creator(s) and producers are/were just trying to do some good, but sadly, when you give someone a huge asset who isn’t accustomed to having it, a few guidelines and follow up consultations should be required to make sure the homeowners don’t end up in the same situation a few years later.

Otherwise, you’re inadvertently setting them up for failure… no matter how good your intentions might have been.

Thanks for the post Fishtalk. I was not aware that the Schell Bros. were politically connected to the Dems. and specifically the 0s. I'll keep an eye on that tent city also. Although I usually don't get that far out of town. LOL
