We will never “secure” the border. So what is the definition of a secure border? Janet says it's secure now.

So let the amnesty begin.

The only way to stop illegal immigration is to make it extremely difficult to stay here - ENFORCEMENT and DEPORTATION. But no one wants to try that first.

They want to pretend that the border is “secure” and then grant amnesty. To me, if you get to stay without fear of deportation, that is amnesty.

Yeah, but don't let that sway your opinion of the veracity of the Krieble Foundation and Newt when they say border security first. Don't let McCain's non-action on border security sway you either. You see, Newt and the Krieble Foundation really, really mean it. Cross their hearts and hope to die, stick a needle in their eye.

If you mean some will always get through, you are correct. Here is one place Perry is right though. That border could be 'secure' with more drones, a few more boots on the ground, and some rapid response squads with chinooks that can round up larger groups of border crossers.

You are right about enforcement as well. It is working in AZ and AL.
