The foreigner in question could have easily avoided any of that by carrying the documents he is legally bound to have on his person.

Follow the law, why is this too much to ask of foreigners?

A car exec? Geez he seems to be smart enough of an executive to be given preference for a US government job. No plate on the car (maybe doesn’t know much about CARS), in a foreign country and no passport or visa?, no drivers license on him (once again maybe doesn’t know much about CARS). Maybe this einstein should stay away from the US as many are armed here and if you enter someones house without permission and no ID you may meet that gun. Seems like the system worked perfectly here other than him apparently getting off without any real punishment. I am not into police or other government authorities messing with people but breaking justifiable laws bring them on you.
