That says alot about Newtus. Conservatives don’t back him, but the DNC does.
hey Newt, feel proud to advertise that on your next TV and Radio commercials.
The Rats know who u are and so do we
DNC stands with Newt
That should help his primary campaign. lol.
Ouch. Now that’s something you don’t want.
Obama-newt 2012 surprise ticket?
U Never Know.
In the same notion, the DNC wants to eliminate Gingrich and praises Romney as conservative. And of course they’re wrong on Romney.
His error was in thinking that the way to win the Presidency is to attempt to obtain Democrat votes using Democrat policies.
You actually have to find a wedge issue that you can drive between a Democrat special interest (or voting bloc) and the Democrat party while holding the Republican base.
Barry Goldwater made the discovery back in the 1960s that the American electorate does not follow a continuum of belief from Left to Right (like supposedly European electorates do). Rather we have a three dimensional bimodal saddle. There are two major poles around which the interests (economic, social, class, ethnic, religious, etc) cluster. We call the one Republican and the other Democrat.
The area in between the clusters is a THIN FRINGE, not a vast throng of independent voters waiting to be led. There is NO MIDDLE in our system.
Two treasonists having a go at each other....
Yawn.
Thread #32 on the same damn thing.
Yawn.
Maybe not........
After all the NAACP standing with Cain didn’t help him!
Then where do swing voters come from?
I guess I will have to just resort to the only steadfast person on the issues, 0bama.
At least that way we can trust what we are getting for our vote!
Haven’t you figured this out yet? I am enjoying myself...do you really want to encourage me???
newt doing “bipartisanship” with the dems like mccain et al.
Encourage? LOL
Mostly I just have a good laugh as the broken record becomes shards and then crumbs and then dust.
Is DNC’s endorsement the kiss of death? Good chance Newt would like to do without it.
If so, it makes the DNC's endorsement less damning.
Let's say you usually vote Republican because you are rich and like lower taxes than you might get from the Democrats. Then they run a black guy for President and you say to yourself "Wow, that'd teach everybody we are not all racists" and you vote for the black guy.
You then spend the next four years on your knees demanding the Republicans do something about keeping the taxes down.
It works the other way. The Democrats started adding Jews to their "hated minority" list ~ and the Jews started jumping off the reservation ~ even voted for a Republican in Manhattan!
The Democrats are gradually backing off their anti-semitism. Probably not possible for them in the long run, but that ran a pretty fast cycle.
