I always heard that a lot of koranic rules were “copycat” rules of the OT. Like many others, Muhammed thought he could “improve” on biblical “errors”.

Just chased away some Jehovah's Witnesses the other day by telling them I didn't talk to people who rewrote the Bible.

The guy instantly claimed they didn't do that, so then I blamed the Seventh Day Adventist gal for that.

He gave up.

That technique works with everybody but the Lubovitch.
