Ive been in conversation with a pro-lifer who shot much of the footage for this newly posted graphic abortion video.
The person did not tell me how s/he got access, or where the abortions were filmed, because to do so would risk losing access.
But s/he did believe that while the babies being filmed or photographed died, countless other babies were being saved by exposing the truth of abortion. This is true.
It is also true that the stress is very great on this dear pro-lifer.
It kills me everytime I have to take photos, the pro-lifer wrote. When I am in that room I want to go ballistic on that abortionist. The only thing that stops me is knowing that in the end, many lives will be saved. But it takes a lot out of me.
This weekends question: What are your thoughts on the morality of pro-lifers videotaping or photographing abortions?
Be prepared for what you are about to see. In my wildest dreams I never thought it was this bad. I am still shaking!

I know we are not all the same in the mind, but I don’t see how any adult female could do that.
Evidence of a crime. So yes.
I have seen a couple of videos in the past. No more.
How could any doctor do that? They were “extracting” the baby as if extracting a cancer cell or something. Are these doctors even human?
I believe it is morally licit to film abortions but that no one is morally compelled to film them. So, there’s no contradiction in saying, “It’s not wrong to film an abortion, but I don’t know how anyone actually could film one.”
Maybe you understood what I was saying, but just for clarification—I meant the adult female having the abortion not the filming of the act.
I am glad someone did because now the truth will get out there. No one believed the Nazi death camps were real until the news reels were shown in theatres. Now people can see first hand just what goes on and how Nazi like this is.
The same brave soul who video taped this was the same kind of brave soul who filmed the Nazi death camps for all the world to see.
“Abby Johnson, now a prolife leader, it was witnessing abortion in the clinic. In other words she saw abortion.”
She saw it but did she really “see” it?
It is a matter of opening her heart.
Oh, I thought you meant the woman filming! Although I do not understand how a woman who can think rationally about whether she should have an abortion could actually have one, I understand how a woman who is terrified because she is pregnant would be desperate enough to have an abortion. I know many women who had abortions in high school or college because they were terrified that their parents would find out they had had sex. They knew that abortion was wrong and hated doing it, but they were afraid. Terribly sad situation. Most of these women are haunted by what they did and never have tried to justify their actions beyond saying, “I was terrified.”

I guess I’m unclear of your point. Her seeing abortion helped her to come out of the darkness. Of course, many see abortion day in day out and stay in the darkness. With Abby, it was also the witness of the street crusaders, along with their specific prayers for her. There are always component parts to all things. I believe a component part to bringing people out of darkness is to see abortion.
Thank you for the ping and the beautiful picture.
I cannot watch any film about abortion or any other type of like violence. I just can’t.
But if such films help people see the truth, then it serves a good purpose.
