I'm reading the new biography "Norman Granz: the Man Who Used Jazz for Justice" * wherein it's revealed that he joined the Communist party during the '40s and it got me to thinking again about why Jews seem to be susceptible to leftist thinking. So I Googled "Judaism vs. individualism" and this was the first hit. The blogger refers to herself as "Tova" and is a student of Jewish culture.

Uh, lots of religions use guilt and/or fear to keep their members in line. How many Christians would be religious if it were not for fear of an afterlife in H@ll?
