Concentration camps were abhorrent places where people are sent to work and die. The Nazis used them in World War II, genocidally killing six million Jews and millions of others that they considered "lesser" races. Those in the camps were barely fed, worked upwards of sixteen hours a day doing back-breaking slave labor, and were shot on the whims of their Nazi captors. Disease was rampant, people were caked in mud, and the only "showers" were where the S.S. sent people to be gassed.
And, according to Occupy Wall Street, being arrested by the police is the equivalent of being sent to a Concentration Camp. It is useless to say this, because it is already readily apparent, but those at OWS have no perspective of the past, no understanding of history, and no knowledge of the world around them.
Here are just a few disgusting examples of their horrifying stupidity.

Don’t know about the “concentration camp” analogy, but from what I have heard, they could certainly stand to be sent “to the showers” for delousing. LOL!

Just another example of clueless, liberal leaning young people, who have no knowledge of history, no perspective, tend to be “drama queens” who think their cause of the day is the most important issue ever raised in the history of world, elitist thinking that they should be untouchable as they carry on their protest, etc.
Sorry, but in truth, concentration camps mean exactly what the English words say: “concentrating” people in a camp. Doesn’t have to do with killing, or slavery, or anything. It is a general term. Japanese-(and others, when possible) Americans were put in concentration camps. Since people became sensitive to what NAZIs did, they started calling them “internment camps” to distinguish their treatment. But basically, “concentration” camp is just fine for any effort to coral people in a specific place.
Meanwhile, merely being arrested is not the same as being taken to a concentration camp. Nor is staying in your chosen camp while being “threatened” by police.
These occupy scum are so evil. This is the kind of language the muslims use to delegitimize real evils done to Jews and other minorities by the nazis, communists and by themselves.
So, according to OWS, Obama is Hitler?
They need to be reminded of what their own Democratic/Mob Rule invariably festers into, when Government Policy sways to the rule of the “Let’s have a vote and make 51% the law.”

My grandma(17 at the time) was in a concentration camp for a year during WW2.
All she ate was a potato a DAY for the entire year while doing forced labor.
These OWS folks wouldn’t last an hour in the filth,violence and brutality that my grandmother endured.
I have pictures of her in the camp to prove my point.
The OWS people are voluntarily “concentrating” their stupidity by packing together in these disease and filth ridden encampments.
Naw, most of them are there because they're trying to score with the skanky hippy chicks.

From what I’ve seen the OWS crowd could use some instruction in concentration.
