Friendship has its claims; so does fairness. And in the wake of the bankruptcy of brokerage firm MF Global, the media's portrayal of Jon Corzine, MF's ex-CEO and a former Democratic senator and governor in New Jersey, strikes me as profoundly unfair and not just because he's a friend.

Love the comments. Those people were really kind compared to what the people who lost their life savings because of Corzine, are probably saying. I love how democrats defend the indefensible, if it’s one of their own.

My first thought was - what drugs is this fool taking ... and why isn’t he send baskets of them to every American Citizen ... we all deserve at least one flight of fancy on the Idiot Airline.
My second thought was - nope, don’t need drugs ... this trip is a bummer.

If the “occupy” people wanted to demonstrate their intention to really accomplish something meaningful, they would be hot on the trail of Corzine with a rope.
He should be and will be if Obama and Biden throw him under the bus. Somehow, their buddies slide by.
