“BTW, none of you have been very credible with your explanation of “gold” in all of this. Europe has interesting controls in place that can turn you into a criminal for thinking about it ~ remember, Switzerland is not part of the EU. You cross that border with paper dealing with gold, or gold, one way or the other, you can have problems.”
You are talking out of your ass. If you want to know the details of Rossi’s problems with the Italian tax authorities, ask them. Have you ever even been to CH or crossed in from Italy?
I’ve actually helped people with criminal records get visas to visit family in Reggio. The Italian tax police are known world wide. Just because they can come up with a crime doesn’t mean it happened or that they have a law against it.
LOL, I have, we crossed at Domodosola. I'm middle aged so I don't look like what I assume a criminal does look like. my wife and I were sharing a compartment with a young brother and sister going through Europe.
At Domodosola, the Swiss customs guys (2) came in, took one look at them and asked, "Where is the marijuana?" I actually started laughing which didn't sit so well with my wife but we didn't have anything, what, did they think we were international drug smugglers? They made these poor kids empty out everything they had. Our next connection came into the station and we got off the train with them (the customs guys) just looking at our passports while the two kids were trying to stuff things back into their bags.
