Ambiance. I need ambiance. Flourescent light is cheap and annoying. LEDs are too.
We thought that too when we began seeking LED's four years ago. We had almost given up until this year when numerous sources started coming available. Previously none of them were dimmable to give the ambiance we were seeking. Now these are more uniform in their coverage and they can be dimmed.
Things are changing fast. I just hope some bright American company comes up with this as when high volume competition starts, prices will come down.
