Depends on who's writing the history. If there's any justice, in 100 years he'll be known for his idiotic Pottery Barn Doctrine that directly resulted in a quarter million Shiite Iraqi deaths, a decade Saddam Hussein's terrorism and a needless ten year war to clean up the mess he left behind. He should also be known as the man who stabbed his good moderate war-hero buddy in the back to endorse the most destructive POTUS in U.S. history.

I remember him puffing about his genius in that great act of bellus interruptus, ‘Gulf War: the Preview’, and trying to insinuate that he had invented the concept of combined arms between ground and air forces on a massive scale.
