Wrong. Sandusky has had continued access to the football program since that time. Former players from the mid 2000s have said this to the media in the last few days. They met him along with children from The Second Mile Foundation on campus. Paterno sent players to do volunteer work at the foundation after 2002. If a player violated team rules, they were sent to work at the foundation.

Also, a recruit has stated to the media that Sandusky came to his last spring game (this year) and talked to him about going to Penn State.
