Did it occur to anyone that the current frontrunner for the GOP Nomination is HERMAN CAIN!!???
I actually think it's just a ploy to get enough Conservatives to abandon their support of Cain thinking he's not electable. That's why we get constant negative, and baseless, attacks against him, along with the fact he's not treated like a front runner, and it's often not even mentioned in articles and television coverage of him. They will talk about him at the same time as they talk about a much lower polling candidate, as if they are actually in contention with each other. Liberals, and many establishment Republicans, are just hoping he drops in the polls overnight. I don't think that's going to happen, but if it did happen I think Romney wins the nomination easy, and I don't see someone else rising high enough in the polls to take Romney on if that happens.
I don't see people who lost significant support making a comeback, and I don't see the guys polling extremely low from day one having much more success than they have had. I see Cain as our last Conservative candidate with a real chance to win, and I hope others can accept their candidates losing, and eventually get behind Cain in time to secure a solid win over Romney.
The liberal attacks on Cain have only shown to help him raise money at the moment. They did the same thing to Sarah Palin, and it did make some Conservatives who were huge fans of hers start thinking they couldn't support her if she ran, because they believed she wouldn't be electable in the general election.
It's up to us Conservatives to not allow the liberal media to slowly manipulate our views overtime with constant barrages trying to get us to divide our Conservative support between different candidates. They can never turn Conservatives into liberals, but making Conservatives question whether a candidate is electable or not is something they can brainwash some Conservatives into believing overtime.
I've already seen a supposed Cain supporter who said he was worried about the general election now if Cain won the primary. I have my doubts that he really supported Cain to begin with, but any Conservative that lets the liberal media influence which Conservative candidates they support are very ignorant. That's their strategy, and it also gives you a hint at who they really fear in the general election.
Cain and Perry aren't even close in the polls, and the only thing Perry is doing now is helping Romney's campaign. He doesn't have the political views, or debating skills, to change things. His illegal immigration policy is horrible, and he can't defend it in anyway to pick up the Conservatives he lost, and he doesn't have the ability to communicate good enough to pick up any new supporters. People need to start choosing either Romney or Cain, and that goes for the other candidates as well.
