If a Church does not stand for the truth of The LORD it has lost it's status as a Church before The LORD. The LORD is The Way, The Truth and The Life. If a Church does not stand for truth or life it is not of God no matter what it may say. If a Church condones the murder of the most innocent of us by not excommunicating those who promote their murder than that church is also guilty of mass murder.

Jesus comes to bring life and bring it more abundantly. Satan comes to steal, kill and destroy. It is wrong to think that God's Name remains on an institution that does not stand for life.

Jesus decried the established religious system of His time calling the Pharisees white washed Sepulchres full of dead man's bones. It was the established religious system at His time that arranged for Him to be murdered. Do not think because something seems established that makes it right.

The Church that came out from Jesus was seperate from the established religious system of it's time. It met in people's homes not even in an established building. The Church is the true people of God who do God's will. We are the Church, those who truly believe in Jesus and recognize His headship. We are The Temple of The Living God.

In the book of Revelation Jesus judged seven churches. Each church had it's own angel which stood before the throne of God and each church had it's own judgments. They stood or fell before The LORD as individual churches. Jesus told the church that was at Sardis that unless it repented he would remove it's candlestick. The candlestick was it's blessing as a church from God. No where in the judgments of the seven churches does The LORD refer to any ruler or pope being over all of them and responsible for them. They were each, individually, responsible for themselves as individual churches before The LORD.

Read what Jesus says to the seven churches written about in Revelation 1:10 to 3:22. It is very obvious that Christ Himself is directly the head of The Church. There is no man taking a part in that headship but Christ and Christ alone. Be careful to not let any man do your thinking for you. Let God through The Holy Spirit by the reading of His Word show you what is true. Be as the Jews at Berea who The Apostle Paul commended because they searched The Scriptures daily to be sure as to what was true or not. It is because they knew the Scriptures that when Jesus was preached to them they readily received Him.
