Border Patrol agent Brian Terrys family broke its silence on Wednesday, and is now calling on Attorney General Eric Holder to admit hes at fault for Operation Fast and Furious.
Terry was murdered with Operation Fast and Furious weapons on December 15, 2010 nearly a year ago and Holder refused to apologize to his family during his Senate Judiciary Committee appearance on Tuesday.
Mr. Holder needs to own Operation Fast and Furious, Terrys family said in a statement. In the end, Mr. Holder may chose not to apologize to the Terry family for the role that ATF and DOJ played in the death of Brian Terry, but the Attorney General should accept responsibility immediately. It is without question, the right thing to do.
Terrys family has remained virtually silent until now. This is the first major statement relatives of the Fast and Furious victim have ever made.

I was hoping they would speak out; there is video that they already have disdain for Obama and holder over this.
He needs to own it...and the responsibility should not only end his position as the US Attorney General, it should land him in jail, and should cost him financially.
I am glad the family has come out too...they need to get the closure they deserve for the tragic, untimely, and needless death of this patriotic hero.
Disdain MUST be the understatement of the decade!
Newsbusters.org:
OF COURSE he should, but he’s a liar and a coward.
“Murdered Border Patrol agents family says Holder should accept responsibility immediately for Fast and Furious “
Not a chance. Bush done it!
Where are the captures/convictions? What are the positive outcomes of this noble, well-thought, well-prosecuted, America-protecting, experiment? /HEAVY SARCASM
Treason. Pre-meditated, agenda-driven murders (it didn't matter who).
If Holder worked for a Republican president, this story would have been on every MSM news broadcast and prime-time newsmagazine show six months ago...
But because it was carried out by a bunch of left-wing Democrats, it’s featured in “The Daily Caller,” which no one outside internet conservatism has ever heard of.
What does that mean these days? Just saying the words if its a Democrat?
It is ludicrous they are trying to blame Bush with wide redeiver. Leahy was such a tool.
In Japan if you’re in such a high level of responsibility and you did something even 1/10th THIS bad and then REFUSED to apoligize then the $hit FLIES SKYYYYY HIGH.
The cameras roll, the flash-bulbs pop, and the top 5 or so guys have to slowly bow to 90 degrees and there’s huge, huge pressure and censure, and you have to look really sad.
And in bad cases you have to go over to the person’s house whom you wronged, and you have to do that (though there might be no cameras).
And you know what? The victim IS entitled to yell at you and stuff, AS you do that! (though they probably would not). And that person can be just a bus-driver, or fix-it guy, or whoever.
I love the USA, but....this whole “acknowelging personal responsibility” thang we’re pretty bad at —it’s also getting really worse.
I think part of it (at least recently) is the fault of Bill Clinton, whose career taught that politicians should simply continue to hold on tighter and tighter as a huge scandal unfolds:
“Deny, deny, deny”
The thing Holder did the other day —refusing to apoligize for the death of the loyal subordinate who died the other day:
I just cannot IMAGINE how much trouble that guy would have gotten into, in Japan.
I think that here a lot of leaders want power, but...they do not really feel connected in any meaningful way to their subordinates, or something.
Except that it has been put on Twitter and Facebook now where millions will read about it. Tomorrow, 20 million more will hear about it on Rush Limbaugh. After that, millions more will hear about it on Sean Hannity. Sean Hannity will put it on his Fox television broadcast and it will be picked up by Bill Oreilly.
By tomorrow or the day after, the White House will be asked about it in the White House press briefing for the day and ABC will spin it some how on the nightly news. MSNBC will be telling insults and lies about it before Friday night.
How many times have you practiced that line, AG? Of course not directly, what about INDIRECTLY or the positive/negative consequences (however you want to spin it) of collateral damage. Did anybody ask you to list those "mistakes", or are you referring to the whistleblowers and/or the story seeing the light of day?
I'll call it TREASON. Pre-meditated, agenda-driven murders (it didn't matter who).
Of course no remorse for the collateral damage of the botched agenda. You have other means to justify your ends.
