Tucker Carlson: ‘Herman Cain Is Not Qualified To Be President And We Are All Pretending He Is’
MEDIAITE ^ | 11/09/11 | James Crugnale

Posted on 11/09/2011 10:37:04 AM PST by Cecilia Trent

On Fox News’s Red Eye, Wednesday morning, The Daily Caller‘s Tucker Carlson made a blunt analysis on Herman Cain‘s abilities to govern as president.

“Come on, can we just stop pretending?” Carlson remarked. “I don’t know what happened with these women, the ‘he said, she said, she said, she said’ thing. He is not qualified to be president, and we are all pretending he is. He’s a nice guy. I know him, I like him. I think he’s a great guy. He would be a better president than the current president, but he can’t explain his own economic plan.”

“Isn’t that all we need — is somebody better than Obama?” asked host Greg Gutfeld.

Yeah DO think this through.

When you think about it, you know it is true that Cain is the best qualified.

Who is the ONLY candidate purposing a plan to fundamentally restructure how the US Government works in a Conservative fashion.

Cain. Everyone else merely wants to screw around changing this or that to “Fix the system”. Cain is the only one who sees the system itself is the problem.

Tucker, like many media elites, posit that one must be a professional politician to be qualified for the presidency.

Bull eff’n shiite!!! Being a professional politician is the equivalent of being a full time liar and confidence man. The fact that Cain is NOT a professional politician gives him far more appeal than all the others at the outset.

I was thinking this way about Cain before any of this stupid sexual harassment rubbish even came up. It’s obvious he’s being targeted by all the usual suspects because by his mere existence he’s a threat to the Obama narrative that any opposition to O is based on racism. But that’s beside the point to me. I’m still focused on who I’m going to have to vote for next November, when all this tempest in a teacup is a mere memory. I want to have the most effective contender possible who’s still recognizably a conservative.

People who think realize Cain is the only serious Conservative in the race.

When you think about it, rather then just cheering on the candidate from your local area, you know it is true that Cain is the best qualified.

Who is the ONLY candidate purposing a plan to fundamentally restructure how the US Government works in a Conservative fashion.

Cain. Everyone else merely wants to screw around changing this or that to “Fix the system”.

Cain is the only one who sees the system itself is the problem.

The rest of the career GOP politicians in the race do not even know what the problem is, must less how to fix it.

"He is not qualified to be president.

Bull Puckey!  Born in country to parents who were citizens at the time of his birth. Having thirty-five or more years of age. Lived in the United States for at least 14 years. He's as qualified as the Constitution deems necessary and one helluvalot more qualified than the presiding pres__ent.

"Isn’t he now banned from Greta Van Sustern’s show?'

Don't know about that, but he isn't on Special Report much anymore. See him on Red Eye too frequently as well. That cannot be a good thing for his career.

He is not serious, getting it wrong regarding the Israel, getting wrong regarding China. Can’t coherently explain his 9-9-9 plan. The commercial was funny the smoking man but seriously running for Pres is a serious job. I don’t care that the Dems voted for Obama, they are liberals and have issues.

I agree with Tucker.

Tucker Carlson is not qualified to be a journalist but he occasionally plays one on TV.

Tucker Carlson:
Tucker Carlson is the elder son of Richard Warner Carlson, a former Los Angeles news anchor and U.S. ambassador to the Seychelles who was president of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting and director of Voice of America.[3] His mother is Patricia Caroline Swanson (born 1945), former wife of Howard Feldman and an heiress to the Swanson food-conglomerate fortune.[3][4] He has a brother, Buckley Swanson Peck Carlson.[5][6] A great-uncle was Sen. J. William Fulbright.[4]

He attended St. George’s School, a boarding school in Newport, Rhode Island. After graduation, he majored in History at Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut.

He is married to Susan Carlson, née Andrews. They have four children: Lillie, Hopie, Dorothy, and Buckley.[7][8][9][10]

A CLASSIC NE TRUSTFUND PUKE!

Yes, both sides of the ‘Establishment’ are against Mr. Cain and a free America.

The only way for ‘We the People’ to win this is by a united front against these attacks.

Our greatest threat lies from within.

Sorry I'm not interested in another Pyrrhic victory like 2000 and 2004 in 2012. Simply winning is not enough. The victory has to actually be backed up with bold deeds.

As the cave by the GOP on the Debt Deal and the Super Committee shows, simply electing another good old GOP boy will fix nothing. It merely hands the keys to the next corrupt, ineffective political pander for 4 years

We are pass almost pass the point of no return fiscally. Simply passing the torch to the next career politican to continue the "politics as usual" game is not a valid option this time.

Smoke was almost coming out of Tucks’ ears last night on Bret’s panel as he was pounding his fist and yelling. “I hate to have to say this about Cain. I really like him BUT...”

Who’s paying these people?

This was last month that Cain said this. There is no comparison between Mittens and Perry. We may not like some of his position on issues but on the core Conservative ideals like Life et cetera, Mittens is a POS. Why would anyone openly say he would be Mittens VP while running for POTUS himself and then go so far to slam a person who is more ideologically with us? It is an issue with me.

Ever notice how Cain goes out of his way to avoid mussing Mittens hair?
