It would be great if we could actually have a debate in this country about what works, and what doesn't in terms of economic growth.

Mr. Obama is travelling the country stating how Congress is holding up job creation by not passing his “jobs bill”, and basically making the case that the republicans don’t want jobs created. It would be refreshing if someone would ask him any one of the following…

- Mr. President is it possible that the Republicans rather than being obstructionist and anti-job, simply believe that your “jobs bill” will do nothing to create jobs, and will just create greater debt for our nation?

- Mr. President can you point to a time in history where the type of “jobs bill” that you are promoting has led to economic growth, and the creation of anything more than temporary jobs?

- Mr. President we know that you are calling this a “jobs bill”, but it looks very similar to the “stimulus” bill that you passed in 2009, just roughly half the size. If the economy has not responded with growth, and the unemployment rate went up after passing that bill, why do you think that another similar bill at half of the size will have different results?

- Mr. President are you familiar with the tax cuts and ensuing job creation that followed during the Harding/Coolidge, Kennedy, Reagan, and George W. Bush administrations? If I may also add, are you aware of the capital gains tax cut pushed by the Republican Congress and signed by Bill Clinton? If I could follow up, could you tell us why with all of the historical proof that has shown that these type of cuts led to job growth and economic expansion, why you have endorsed the opposite policy, and how you know better than history?

I agree. This election should be about results. Let's make Obama and the Democrats run on their record.

How to make that happen when the entire media is Obama and the RAT's propaganda machine?

It seems the only mechanism left to the conservatives is TALK RADIO, and that isn't really "news" ya know. /s

"..actually have a debate.."

I think we're already having it, although it is not defined as such.

On the one hand we have the "gimme more" crowd, along with the dems, the LMSM, and certain "useful idiots" who are called "economists".

On the other hand, we have the conservatives, and well, just the conservatives.

Our responsibility is to attempt to educate the great unwashed masses to a better understanding of economics and the various political worldviews.
