MSNBC’s Karen Finney: Will GOP Rally Around Cain Despite Accuser Being White?
Mediaite ^ | November 7th, 2011 | James Crugnale

Posted on 11/07/2011 5:25:55 PM PST by markomalley

MSNBC commentator Karen Finney waded into the muddied waters of sexual politics and miscegenation on Monday’s Martin Bashir. “It’s going to be fascinating to see how this story unfolds over the next several days and particularly interesting to see how our friends on the right handle the accusations from these women in conjunction with how they handled Anita Hill.” “What do you mean, Karen?” Bashir pressed. “Look, I think it will be interesting to see if these guys rally around Herman Cain with as much voracity as they have these last couple of weeks now that it’s clear that a whole other layer of black sexuality has been infused into this,” Finney explained. “Also remember these women were ten years younger than we’re seeing them now. So that whole power dynamic. This is an older man, this younger women. White women, Black man.”

“It’s very jarring for the GOP, for anybody, I think, to see a black man be sexually aggressive in an unwanted way toward a blonde, white — especially a blonde, white woman,” added Touré. “One thing you have to keep in mind here is that this is not a real campaign. He is not really competing for the presidency! He’s competing for branding, television jobs, speaking jobs, book jobs. Just stay on the stage as long as possible, doesn’t matter how many arrows are in you, just stay on the stage, that’s all that matters for him.”

“We need to deal with these issues about sexual harassment and how women are treated in the workplace, it is still a problem. I hope we use this as a teachable moment,” Finney opined. “There are racial issues. Not everybody is going to have the same reaction to this. I hope we will have the same reaction no matter what the race is because it’s horrible when it happens no matteer what, but it will change the dynamic we are seeing now.”

The racism of the left is becoming so rampant, I am expecting them at any time to pull out their sheets and burn a cross in Cain's front yard.

Doesn't anyone realize that Gloria Steinem herself set the famous "One Grope Rule".

Every guy gets one shot, and if she says no and that's the end of it then it's all OK, particularly if the guy is a white boy from Arkansas eh!

This is an absolutely perfect example of how the democrat party is now and always has been racist. I never even thought about the fact that she was Caucasian until I saw this headline. These democrat bastards haven't changed a bit since they own slaves and demanded the right to extra votes for each slave they owned. They were racists who thought of themselves as a nobility then and they're exactly the same thing to this day.

Whatever it is, I think it's bad advice for Cain to simply ignore or blame the media for these charges.

I hope these charges are not true. But if it's not true, then Cain should be able to successfully show some kind of facts that counter the lies.

However, if any of this were true the best thing Cain could have done from the get go would have been to belly up, admit the wrong doing, and show that he's changed his heart and actions. But we're now down the road of denial. I hope this stuff isn't true but if any of it is, at this point, I think he's got a problem.

Don't be silly. They don't think it's racist to accuse white people of being racists.

Finney is exactly right. The way the likes of Micheal Medved and Hugh Hewitt have handled this makes me sick. One does not need to be a blind Cain supporter to defend the man in an even handed manner. They’re like wolves at the back of the pack pushing their way to the front to tear at the carcass.

Might I suggest a committee composed of Bill Clinton, John Edwards, Newt Gingrich, and Chris "waitress sandwich" Dodd.

These people live in their own little world.
They project the racism that they have onto other people.

If Mr. Cain did what he was alleged to do - it was wrong.
But right now the clear message getting through is that the Media has no ethics, and are willing to advance spurious charges with no substance in their zeal to destroy Mr. Cain. The allegations are a minor side story at this time. The real event is the depravity of those pushing the accusations (the MSM, Rove, RINOs, etc)
I don't know their motives. Strictly because Mr. Cain is a conservative? Because he's Christian? Or more likely than not, because he is a black conservative, who is a Christian. The Media has gone crazier in their chasing this story than Gollum was when he chased 'his precious'...

My wife says that you molested her 15 years ago, and I think that if it’s not true you should be able to successfully show some kind of facts that counter the lies.

You see what I did there?

It is not an accident or a coincidence that Allred pulled a white woman out of her Rent An Accuser stable for this one. Allred and whoever is paying her are counting on the old DemocRAT stereotype of Conservatives that they will become “outraged” about “a black man molesting a white woman.” Sorry Allred, it’s not going to work this time.

I don’t think it will be “rally around” so much as “ignore issue altogether unless concrete evidence surfaces”.

At that point an evaluation will be made.

Until then, those who pile on damage themselves.

Well I am sure if this one doesn’t take Cain down, Gloria will try a black woman next.

If at first you don’t succeed, just keep on trying.

As I understand it, the woman has not been specific on when the mistreatment she alleges occured. What, exactly, can Cain do to "counter the lies?"

Of course, a woman similarly accusing a liberal Democrat, who couldn't come up with any specific dates or times, would be dismissed. Heck, accusations were dismissed, in Clinton's case, even with specific dates and times. In the case of Paula Jones, there was an officer of the Arkansas State Police who went public, if I recall correctly. She was still subjected to the "Nuts and Sluts" machine.

There is a weapon in the PC game Team Fortress 2 called the The Cow Mangler 5000.

Enemies killed by the Mangler suffer a distinctive death by vaporization: they turn black, hover in mid-air while performing a specific disintegration animation surrounded by team-colored particles, and then disappear into ashes.

"Karen Finney" could use a blast.

The way the likes of Micheal Medved and Hugh Hewitt have handled this makes me sick.

Medved is no doubt holding out for McCain to announce his candidacy. A phonier conservative there never was.

I don't know what Hewitt's problem is, other than any republican candidate hailing from farther than 100 yards outside the beltway gives him hives.

We didn't use Clinton/Lewinsky as "a teachable moment", why is this any different? You gotta "MoveOn" Karen.
