Bingo. In addition to creating a new tax, a national retail sales tax, Herman wants to keep alive the socialist tax calculated from corporate profits and working people earned wages, to feed the beast in Washington.

BTW, I was listening to Hannity a while back when Herman was on his show and the toughest question Sean asked Herman was a concern that Herman’s proposed national sales tax would continually be increased. Herman’s response was that he wasn’t concerned a bit because it would be “transparent” [a new Washington Establishment catch-all phrase] and the people would become outraged if Congress attempted to increase his national sales tax! Of course, Sean failed to follow up and point out that Herman’s argument was without merit when one considers the imposition of the Temporary Victory Tax of 1942 which expanded the income tax upon corporations and businesses to include a 5 percent temporary tax upon working people’s earned wages, which somehow is still to this very day being collected, and constantly increases!

Well Cain’s 9-9-9 proposal is a step towards the fair tax which is supposed to include getting rid of the 16th amendment so maybe you should inform yourself on his stated position. This is documented on his web page.

I favor the Flat tax for some practical reasons ( I don’t see the votes to get rid of the 16th amendment) which Gingrich and Perry are promoting, Perry is dead, Gingrich has a chance if Cain stumbles.

The issue is 1 of either Cain, Gingrich or Perry keeping Romney from getting the nomination. Gingrich or Cain would wipe the floor with Obozo in a debate, Perry isn’t articulate in that setting.
