He’s got that polished politician aura about him that makes me violently ill.

Ill add your word to mine: Crypto-Socialist ChameleonSee the thing with Romney is, in his heart I am not so sure he is left leaning either. His record in Massachusetts certainly was, but with Mitt I am not at all convinced he believed in anything he did during his time as governor of that state. The only reason he doesn't back off of Romneycare is because it was his signature issue and he has made a political calculation that, at least at the moment, the risks to doing so outweigh the rewards.
That's just the problem, Mitt represents nothing more than the accumulation of political power. For whatever reason he gravitated to the Republican party, but he will say and do anything to get himself elected to any office he can. If the country suddenly went all OWS and sided with the occupypublicparks hippies, Mitt would do whatever he had to do to align himself with those people as well. The man simply has no core convictions at all that I can tell.

My wife recently asked me why I don’t write about the Myth. To be honest, I can’t. He’s all over the place. He’s like watery instant mashed potatoes.

Sillyputty - it stretches (to conform to the philosophy of whomever he’s speaking to); it bounces (from one position to another depending on which way the wind is currently blowing); it leaves a bad taste in your mouth ... BUT it’s NOT inevitable, despite what Karl Rove and “the Republican establishment” think.
My idea of the GOP ticket from hell - Romney/Santorum - the two biggest phonies/losers/con-men in the race.
