If it was my car, I'd hit the upholstery with the steam cleaner I use for my carpets inside.
In conjunction with 1 and 2 above, there is a product called Odo-Ban (you can get it at Home Depot). Spray it on the stain after you've gotten rid of as much of the source as possible. No guarantees, but I have seen it neutralize some pretty amazing odors in the past.
