I think Cain and Gingrich cannot be on the same ticket if both claim Georgia as their residence.

Newt completed his Contract with America, bringing every item on the list to a vote and in less than the promised 100 days. How exactly did he "break his contract?"

I’m shocked at the support Cain gets from Freepers. It reminds me of the support Obama got. Based on very little. Cain fumbled on the Mideast ,Abortion , this latest escapade created by the left. Truly surprised.

IIRC, that happened in 2000 when Bush picked Cheney. Cheney was living in Texas at the time he was running Haliburton, and had to change his residency back to Wyoming. Dunno if it is a constitutional thing as much as an act of congress.

IMHO, this one would make liberals heads explode, not to mention give Cain much needed gravitas.

Cain-Rice (Condi)...

It might be the right solution, it’s certainly better than the way it’s working now, but it’s a mistake to even be talking about it until we secure the border. These kinds of ideas coming from a potential future President could cause a bigger flood across the border than we already have.

He’s also implemented more Conservative policy and gotten more Conservatives elected than Cain could ever recite.

But it doesn’t matter. Cain is everything to everybody; he holds the most Conservative position on EVERY issue ever imagined, and has held those positions since the day he was conceived. Don’t believe me? Ask his followers. He has no flaws, no wrong positions, and is indestructible and impervious to criticism. Nothing will ever slow him down, everything will just help him. Also, after he introduces a new sales tax, nobody will ever raise the sales or income tax from 9% ever again, period. Never.

Besides, Gingrich has 20-year-old baggage, and the public will NEVER forgive him for that. But as we can see now, Cain clearly has no baggage, and all of the fake baggage will only make people want to vote for him MORE! EVERYONE can see it’s only HELPING him!!!!!!!

Besides, a former Speaker of the House, author of the successful “Contract With America,” and arguably the most successful elected official in twenty years in getting Conservative policy implemented (not to mention brilliant Conservative mind and idea machine) is more of a “Secretary of State” guy. The guy who’s really ready to run the country, be Commander-in-Chief of the U.S. Armed Forces, Leader of the Free World, Chief Executive Officer of the United States, and Chief Law Enforcement officer and Policy Maker of the United States of America is the pizza guy and former lobbyist.

Oh, and the fact that he was a lobbyist, and actually lobbied to allow people to drive with more alcohol in their system won’t ever come back to haunt him in a national election. NEVER!

Stop the caINSANITY!

I had a real problem with Cain because of his ignorance regarding Israel to his credit he educated himself, and changed his position. He seems like he does not have any views until he does his homework ie Abortion. This does not seem like a serious candidate .

Perry is a liberal that will change his views just to get votes.

Romney is a Liberal.

Bachmann is the only candidate that has stuck to he guns whether she is right or wrong. I don’t think she will get the nomination, but if I had to pick She wins.
