Reports of past sexual harassment allegations against GOP presidential contender Herman Cain may turn out to be a few bad days for the candidate or a major scandal for his campaign. But regardless of how the specific story ends, Republican primary voters may be getting their first best look at how a President Cain would handle the top job.
One of the positive attributes of Mr. Cain's former businessman resume is his status as a political novice, an outsider, someone who has a reputation for solving problems in the private sector and no responsibility for the current state of government. But one of his negatives is that, as someone who has never held public office, voters have no way to judge if his leadership skills in the business world would translate to the presidency. Over the past few days we have seen they may not.

I see the nonsense GOP Establishment paid for smear is working. Rather then bother to learn the facts the blogbots are merely repeating what their boss Karl Rove told them to say
How about the blog bots try thinking for themselves one time rather then mindlessly regitate word for word what Karl Rove says on Fox News.
How about a glimpse at the rest of your blog post?
Why excerpt it?
The people seem to think he is handling it just fine.
He has had the two best fundraising days on Monday and Tuesday $400,000 on Monday)
And a Rasmussen Poll taken Tuesday night shows him up with a 7% point lead over Romney
My opinion is my own based on watching some of Mr. Cain’s appearances and reading quotes directly from him.
The lefties pulled that “October Surprise” one October too soon.
And you expect folks to click on your blog to read it.
In essence, to "pay" you a hit for the privilege of knowing your opinion.
Yeah. That's gonna happen.
Too bad your feelings are just about completely diorced from fact.
I actually watched the inteviews and you badly misrepresent what Cain actually said.
How about your try being accurate in your quotes of Mr Cain instead of parphasing him in order to put your own emotion based spin on his statements?
No you did not. Your are not accurately quoting him. You are parapahsing him to put your own spin on his words.
Post the whole quote in context, not what YOU THINK he said.

Personaally, I'm still undecided regarding who should get the nomination and I may very well end up choosing Mr. Cain (and in the general election I will vote for whoever the Republican nominee is). But I think we have to be honest in our assessments as the campaign goes on and I'm not impressed with the way Mr. Cain is handling this situation.
I'm sure it's very frustrating for him but if he's lashing out at this level, will he be able to handle the pressure of the campaign against Obama and eventually the presidency?
Check the Real Clear Politics poll average. Cain's support has gone almost vertical while Romney is fading Your smear job isn't working.
If we have gotten to the point where any criticism of a candidate is shouted down or written off as part of some conspiracy, then we're no better than those who got Obama elected in 2008.
This is the time for the free exchange of ideas from and about all the GOP contenders so we can each make our choice. Go ahead and disagree with me on how Mr. Cain is handling this crisis but don't accuse me of engaging in a smear job simply because I dare to voice a concern about a candidate.
