On Fox, Cain confirms "false accusations" of sexual harassment
The Daily Caller ^ | 10/31/2011 | Jeff Poor

During Monday’s broadcast of Fox News Channel’s “Happening Now,” the suddenly embattled former Godfather’s Pizza CEO and Republican presidential front-runner Herman Cain offered a stern denial of allegations, raised in a Sunday Politico story, that he had sexually harassed two women in the late 1990s when he was CEO of the National Restaurant Association.

“I’ve never sexually harassed anyone, and yes, I was falsely accused while I was at the National Restaurant Association,” Cain said. “And I say falsely because it turned out after the investigation to be baseless. The people mentioned in that article were the ones who would be aware of any misdoings, and they have attested to my integrity and my character. It is totally baseless, and totally false, never have I committed any sort of sexual harassment.”

When did the false accusations happen. Were they following Cain’s making Clinton look bad about healthcare at that town hall?

It is highly amusing to watch what you Perry freaks have become. In your case, it is particularly enjoyable.

I support Perry at this point. See my post above. This kind of stuff is very distressing to me. If someone who purports that they are "journalists" wants to sling this kind of thing around they damn sure better have a couple of humans standing by to step up and face Cain. They must have the people that accused Cain at hand and ready to speak in the light of day. If they don't then this story should have never been seen anywhere but on some stupid blog site run by a neo-nazi that happens to be one of the few neo-nazis that can type....

Someone better put up or shut up. If not then they better retract this story and apologize.

I bet the point of this garbage story. It is not anything about sexual harassment! The point here is that Herman is after the "white wimmen"! That is what is being inferred.

One last thing. If he has done something like this he has done it numerous times. Guys that do this kind of stuff don't stop at two or three or four. If this is true there will be an avalanche of accusations. Anyone want to bet me that is going to happen? That Cain will have all sorts of women saying the same kinds of things? Anyone? I doubt it...

So again, you have as much proof as the writer of the Cain story.

Where will Jackwagon Journalism go next?

Let’s see, ran hundreds of fast food restaurants. I’d be shocked if there weren’t code violations at at least few of them, so that will show up soon. Then somebody got sick at sometime after eating Godfather’s sausage pizza, so that will become an issue.

It must be nice being Barack Obama, who never did much, other than teach people to hate each other from a text (”Rules for Radicals”) that is literally dedicated to Satan (look it up).

OK, yes, technically “Lucifer,” Same thing.

I was very impressed with Herman’s response.

Read the details of the case for yourself. There is undoubtedly much more to come. Especially now that Cain denies everything. When in reality, there IS something, or else those 5 figure out of court hush payments would not have been made.

This won't just go away. It is only getting started. You know, what your group refers to as the “Vetting Process”.

If they have to go all the way back to 1990 (over 20 years!) to find dirt on him, he must be pretty clean. also, men who are guilty of sexual misconduct have a pattern of this type of behavior. It seems Cain does not. Besides, this is the lefts #1 accusation. They did the same thing recently to an Ohio candidate. By the time the truth came out, the election was over.

I agree, but nothing is a given in court, either. This has been a time-honored way for racist (dare I say?) and feminist and homosexualist groups, among others to extract money from corporations, and has shut down more than one smaller business over spurious claims of 'wrongdoing'.

With standards as subjective as 'made me uncomfortable' or 'offended me', it is hard to defend against the unpredictable responses of the too-thin skinned to ordinary and commonplace stimuli.

It is most likely it was not the company that handled the payout. In cases like this it is the company’s insurance that handles these matters. It could be viewed as improper by share holders or the board of directors for a CEO to be involved in a settlement where he is the accused.

How much attention did the MSM give to the accusations by Larry Sinclair re: him performing oral sex on Barack Obama in a Limo while BHO smoked crack? How big a deal is this, even if was true (which I doubt) compared to Bill Clinton letting a little girl perform Oral Sex on him in an Oval Office closet? Much ado about nothing.

Mark Fuhrman’s comments on FOX last night were to the effect of that if stripped of all else, viewed from who had the most to gain by this sort of story ‘breaking’ some 20 years after the fact and just after Cain had polled in first place. The obvious answer was “Romney”.

Ann Coulter looked none too pleased with that assessment...

Have you forgotten what the media did to Sarah Palin?

Nope.

"I can see Russia from my house". (Tina Fey)

and Sarah Palin didn't make the comment...

In this case, there actually was a complaint that had merit for consideration by the courts, which is why they settled out of court, to keep it from escalating into a much higher settlement.

I'm guessing it was all handled by insurance company..

I am guessing it was handled internally bu Human Resources. I’ve seen these types of situations many time before.

Sadly, you are right.
There's also the illegal immigrant nanny angle, and income tax irregularities. Didn't Dan Rather say something like, "Just because it's false doesn't mean it's not news."

I would put nothing past the RINOs that want Romney elected president. Karl Rove learned his job from the master Lee Atwater, who would go to any length to smear the opposition. Atwater, dying from a brain tumor, wrote letters apologizing for ruining people’s lives to gain the advantage in an election.

I'm close to someone accused of sexual harassment. This person did not know who the accuser was, what they did, or what if any settlement might have been. This person was fired without knowing any of this.
