The other night on Fox I saw that Ron Paul would not rule out running 3rd party when he doesn’t get the GOP nomination. I am so hoping he leaves the Republican party for good. As an independent he would probably siphon a lot of votes from Obama - including the most ignorant of the OWS crowd who don’t quite realize they are supporting marxists, drug addled college kids, conspiracy theorists, peaceniks, etc. None of these types would ever vote for the eventual Republican nominee, but if Paul goes 3rd party he would deny Hussein perhaps as much as 3-4% of the vote. That could be enough to make a real difference. Plus it would just be nice to get the paulbot types from pretending to be Republicans and stinking up our party.

Based on what Mark Levin has studied...he says that Ron Paul and his merry band are Neo-Libertarians and support those articles of confederation over upholding the constitution. They have a worldview that is a mix of anarchist and isolationists. According to Levin the hardcore Libertarian base even dislikes Lew Rockwell. Fromw hat I know from reading End The Fed, Ron worked with Lew in a private company during his years away from Politics.
In 86 Ron Paul got voted out of Congress after serving in the House since 1976. Then he ran for president as a Libertarian. He waited until 94 or 96 to gain back a house seat.

I’m with Patrick Henry on this one. The Constitution wouldn’t be half bad but it’s hasn’t been used to rein in the Federal government for over 130 years.

This is a ridiculous hit piece against the only authentic pro-liberty candidate running. Ron Paul. No. Lew Rockwell is not an "anarchist" but rather a minarchist ie: small government advocate. How odd Lew Rockwell gets attacked here of all places as he was LINKED to on the homepage of Free Republic during the 1990s & the link to his website on Free Republic is how I ever found this pro-liberty / small government author in the first place. Let's STOP attacking our own side for once & try to remember that the Left opposes ALL of us. The Right might not all be in agreement on all issues but we can certainly all agree to unite around the best candidate to beat Obama & to restore the republic & return to the Constitution.

It’s always seemed to me that of all the problems facing Ron Paul, the lack of fiber in his diet has been the most urgent, followed by his failure to use a good laxative on a daily basis.
Good article, thanks for posting it. Anybody who stands with those stinkin’ hippies and calls them ‘victims’, who makes excuses for those Iranian fascists, AND states that he would put Dennis Kucinich into his cabinet, is no conservative, and is an unwitting tool of the left.

Neo Nazis are a part of the OWS protest, too. They get around with the socialists and the libertarians.

Dr Ron Paul defended the attacks of 9/11.
He should be taken to GITMO and tortured.

Levy is just angry because Paul doesn't walk lock step with the theocracy known as Israel. To Nazify an opponent is the typical MO for Zionists. So predictable.
