A public apology to Jim Robinson
one man's opinion...

Posted on 10/26/2011 8:12:25 AM PDT by ken5050

Well, when you're wrong, you're wrong, and it's time to admit it. Now it's my time to step up and say "I WAS WRONG." So please allow me this public "mea maxima culpa." I am no fan of Mitt Romney, and have written so here many times, but for the last year I have been PRIVATELY (please note "PRIVATELY") somewhat dismayed with JimRob's vehement opposition to Romney's candidacy, and more likely, his occasional harsh treatment of those who expressed any degree of support for Romney........

Those of us with first hand experience with the "faith of Romney's fathers" (the lds sect of mormonism), have been screaming from the rooftops for years about him trying to warn. They take secret blood oaths in the "temple" swearing to "avenge the blood of the prophets" and to covenant to be disemboweled if they ever betray the "church".

You do not rise to the level he was at in that organization without selling your soul to the devil. LIE, CONCEAL, DECEIVE, BRAINWASH, CORRUPT....and that's just what he does on sunday...

I think the sad reality is that the globalists have already won the next election and most folks don't even realize it yet.

Consider...
Romney, babylonian mystery cult member, pro abortion, anti-gun, pro amnesty etc.

Perry, former AlGore man, pro amnesty, bilderberg attendee, trans texas corridor land confiscator etc

Cain, former fed reserve branch director, and open supporter of Kissingeresque foreign policy.

We're screwed.

“We battle Mitt hard, every step of the way, inch by inch, “

The only places one can do that is IA NH SC NV.
Focused opposition works. Unfocused talk ... won’t do much.

I know a guy in NY who has an IA phone # on his cell and is calling IA for Cain. That it they type of thing that makes a difference. 99% of conservatives are kinda skipping the process.

“A GOP controlled Senate with BALLS can take care of Obama’s SCOTUS picks...”

Good luck fiding the GOP Senate with Balls !! They would cave to the media pressure so fast it would make your head swim. Remember Lindsey Graham?

Listing the three wost things about the Obama era, I come up with the following three in order, the worst first and going on down: 1) Obamacare, 2) Obama’s worship of the AGW superstition and accompanying attempt to implement total, irrestible interantional communism on the basis of that superstition, and 3) the immense, destructive, anti-American power of public emloyee unions. Mittens has already supported the precursors to 1) and 2). Now he’s stabbed Kasich and all he other great, courageous GOP governors who are fighting 3) in the back. That’s his third strike; he’s out.

I think that Mitt has no idea how badly he screwed up yesterday.

How did you find out about this? Was it in the news? I wonder how much we'll hear about this on Fox News or the media? Until you mentioned it in this thread, I had not heard about it, and BTW, thanks for bringing it to FR's and my attention. I wonder if Drudge would carry the ball on this to get it in the news? Hmmmm....

" Simply put, he is 100% correct about Romney. He recognized the man for what he is, worthless and valueless "

Yes, and it can't be said enough from Jim Robinson.

Jim Rob is a Godsend and is our David in the face of the G.O.P. establishment, the Left Media, and the Democrat Party Goliath.

oh, yeah, BTW ? Perry is a Romney Wannabe.

he does, because today he reversed himself and came out “110%” for Kasich’s plan. Not that it matters, your point stands, as does the point made by other candidates that Romney seems to say what he thinks he needs to say to get elected; yesterday he apparently thought the moderates that were his core would like his aloofness, then he must have found out that his position hurt him politically, so he repositioned himself this morning.

To those, who would consider Romney, here is something to think about and ask yourself, especially when you hear the phrase "anybody would be better then Obama".

Romney himself, has stated the difference between himself and Obama, is an issue of competence. Its ability, its leadership, etc.

Its clearly not about policy, or ideology.

Here is the question.

Do you want an incompetent liberal democrat, or a very competent liberal republican to try and lead this country into socialism?

Romney, can do a better job, executing Obamas vision of America, then Obama himself can, he can do a better job carrying out the agenda of the left, then the current leftist can, and he can do it, with the GOP supporting him.

Is that really what we want ? I'd rather my enemy stand in front of me, and be a fool, then stand behind me, and be fit.

I fully agree with your final recommendation, but the "GOP elites meme" statement ignores half of the problem. Most voters decide based on habit, sound bites, or what the "experts" tell them.

Case in point, taken from a Wash Post editorial elsewhere on FR:

"Haley Barbour (R) said Tuesday. “Republicans should want this election to be what American presidential elections have always been… So anybody who talks about anything else is off-subject.”
Former Florida governorJeb Bush... told my colleague Jennifer Rubin of “Right Turn,” “Republican candidates should categorically reject the notion that President Obama was not born in the United States. It is a complete distraction from the failed economic policies of the president.”
Even televangelist Pat Robertson&...; "

All this from an article on Carl Rove’s constant blather about why we should all just accept Romney as the anointed “next guy in line”, an article that featured the following:

“At the height of the birther craziness, responsible Republican leaders remained mute while the legitimacy of President Obama was questioned, despite ample evidence to the contrary. In the early days of the Tea Party movement, when extremists armed themselves with incendiary rhetoric and some with actual guns, responsible Republican leaders turned a blind eye and a deaf ear.”

Do you really believe that "GOP elites" aren't a huge part of the problem?

Romney cannot get above 25% of GOP support.

Yet we are told that we HAVE to support him to win.

ANY other candidate is better then Romney-period.

Perry can not carry Texas just as Al Gore could not carry Tennessee, and the polls show it.

Please share with me the stuff that you are smoking. It is high quality weed. :) Perry would carry Texas against Obama. Show me a poll that says he will not. However, I hope he does not carry Texas and it is my fervent desire that HERMAN CAIN carry Texas as the Republican nominee for President.

I live in Ohio, and Issue 2 is very crucial to the economic and political future of Ohio. Unfortunately it looks very much like the voters are ready to bend over for the public sector unions. Romney did nothing to help Kasich and those who support him at a time when his support is needed.

The idea of "Electability Over Principles" has destroyed the Republican Party.

Very true, and it bears repeating.
