All things are relative in this game—and in the Establishment backing.

True.

someone they can “work” with.

Perry has a record of using the Veto power extensively in Texas. I know he is willing to stand against the legislature when he want to do so.

I am not as sure Cain is as willing to do the same.

For your info:

Hey, Texplainer: Just how often does Perry put his veto pen to paper?

In 2001, his first term as governor, he set a record with the most bills vetoed in a single session. That year, Perry vetoed 82 bills and signed 1,913 bills. So far, that’s still the record.

The issue with a GOP president and Congress isn’t the use of veto power as much as not leading the legislative lapdogs down the “I’ll impose any mandate to maybe save a life”, big-government, pro-amnesty path.

Then you don’t have the right to bash anybody. It is pure cowardice to sit back and bash candidates who have stood up when you won’t.

I have not decided if I will vote for the nominee if it is a Rino.

Pray for America

If you can't even decide if you are going to vote at all, and insure Obama a second term, don't call me a coward.

Cain and Gingrich agree to Lincoln-Douglas style debate in The Woodlands "The two Georgians seeking the Republican nomination for president have accepted an invitation from the Texas Patriots PAC to meet in The Woodlands [north of Houston] on Nov. 5 for a free-wheeling and moderator-free debate on the major issues in the 2012 presidential campaign.

Would love to attend, but will have to settle for watching on TV or the internet.

Interesting that so far Perry and Romney have refused a similar debate with each other, but am definitely looking forward to seeing Cain and Gingrich debate in this format.
