From the link, here’s a link to the organization:

“A veterans groups called The Veteran Defenders of America has now answered that question. In a documented Call-to-Action titled a A Declaration to Restore the Constitutional Republic former Military and Law Enforcement Officers have come together to demand that all oath-takers immediately execute their oaths in preservation of the Constitutional Republic.”
Here are three names with info copied from the link above, maybe people know about them. I know Gen. Vallely just a bit from reading on FR:
Colonel James Harding is one of the most decorated military leaders and pilots of our time and we are honored to welcome him aboard the Veterans Council of the United States Patriots Union.
A note from the founder Richard Van Waes
As veterans, we swore to uphold the Constitution of the United States of America and to defend it against all enemies, both foreign and domestic. Quite simply, unlike any period in our long history, our freedoms are in jeopardy. Our domestic borders have been silently invaded with people who intend to harm us. There are thousands of terrorists and terror cells within the United States borders who have one goal as their agenda - the destruction of America as we know it. This simply cannot take place.
You, as a veteran, have training, skills and experience that uniquely enable you to prepare your family and community in the event of disasters, either natural or man-made. REMEMBER, we ALL can contribute some of our skilled training, in some small way. Together, we are a strong force.
May God bless you, your family and our nation. The time is now, join us.
It is my great privilege and honor to rally America’s veterans to join the ranks of the Veteran Defenders of America - now a division of PatriotsUnion.Org Network.
I meet veterans across America who share my grave concerns about the future safety of our country and the preservation of our cherished liberties.
Perhaps the greatest threat to our safety and liberty is the threat of radical Islam. This threat goes well beyond the threat of terrorism. Islamists, both inside and outside of America, are looking for any and every way to infiltrate and subvert our country through what is known as “stealth jihad.”
There are other threats to our safety and security, such as the threat of natural disasters, where a grassroots, volunteer organization of veterans could make a difference.
You and I swore an oath to defend our nation and our Constitution against all threats, foreign and domestic. When I retired from the Army, my oath did not retire, and I trust yours didn’t either. I call upon you today, my fellow veterans, to join me in honoring that oath by becoming a member of the Veteran Defenders of America.
The motto of the Veteran Defenders of America is “The eyes and ears of freedom, because we know freedom isn’t free.” I invite you to become a member of the Veteran Defenders of America and join me as our “eyes and ears of freedom.”
Paul E. Vallely, MG US Army (Ret)

DC Chapter Master Ping List
An brief update for the day’s events from a conversation I had with one of the co-founders.
Muster begins at 0600, with the event starting mid-morning and lasting the day.
A schedule of the day’s event will be posted on the 11.11.11 sponsor organizations’ web sites as speakers and entertainment are firmed up.
[Mr] T
Sweet of your daughter to honor her grandparents by choosing their wedding day for her own. Wishing a long, happy marriage to her and her husband to be.
Or would the Washington Post 'catch it' if we tried something so transparently false?
But seriously, take a minute and read through the demands in post 11. They are pointless, absurd and go beyond the realm of not happenening.
I concur with dirtboy. Thanks for the ping though.
It is a lot, but then again the Tea Party had a long list of demands, none occurred at the time, but we sure won a lot of elections in 2010 that at least seriously slowed and sometimes stopped, the run away train. Hopefully in 2012 we can reverse the train.
Slow but sure, the leftist have been doing it that way since the 60s.
The larger our numbers on 11.11.11 the bigger impact we will have on those already in office. Maybe even start them thinking.
[Mr] T
The Tea Party did not demand extra-Constitutional solutions.
Huge difference. And a big reason why they were successful.
So why change a winning formula?
That the seven remaining members of the U.S. Supreme Court place an immediate stay on all Executive and Legislative actions taken under the term of the unconstitutional administration beginning January 20, 2009.
Where in the Constitution does SCOTUS get this power, and would you really want this kind of precedent set?
That remaining members of the House and Senate immediately act to name new majority and minority leaders of congress, and work with the U.S. Supreme Court in the assigning of new temporary Executive Branch members, acting on behalf of the people and the will of the American majority
There are existing prescriptions for filling vacancies. This would create a new-extra-Constitutional one.
This reads more like a college bull session (or a really crappy JB Williams blog post) than a list of serious and well thought-out demands.
Its not my game plan, I do not know why they are doing it. But I will throw some support their way just as I did for the Tea Party, 9-12 and Beck’s 8-28 rally among others. If I wanted something that I could stand 100% behind, or vote for a representative I 100% support, I would do it myself.
[Mr] T
Those rallies were coherent.
This one is not.
Violations against the 3rd Amendment of the Bill of Rights
Amendment III
No Soldier shall, in time of peace be quartered in any house, without the consent of the Owner, nor in time of war, but in a manner to be prescribed by law.
When was the last time soldiers were quartered in private homes without permission?
Other than that Im in agreement with the rest.
