A new poll from Magellan Strategies, a Republican-affiliated firm, shows Mitt Romney with a large lead in Nevada. According to the survey of 673 likely Republican caucus goers in Nevada, Romney leads with 38 percent, Herman Cain comes in second with 26 percent, and Newt Gingrich is in third with 16 percent. The remaining candidates all received less than 10 percent.

Romney won Nevada last time. Lots of Mormons. Not a bad showing for Cain.

rino poll.
What’s interesting is that Gingrich is suddenly showing a strong #3.
From the same State who cursed us with Harry Reid.
Maybe there Is something after all to that gripe about dumping nuclear waste out there.
Where’s perry?
Reciting his flat tax speech in front of Anita.
Wasn’t there another poll up during the past few days showing Cain leading in NV?

As far as Nevada is concerned, in the GOP, it just may be that there as many Mormons choosing to vote their faith more than specific principled policy preferences, much like some Conservative Evangelicals are doing in other states.
If that’s the case, it’s really too bad and NOT a good thing for the long term. It’s a Liberal-like, Balkanizing strategy around narrow sectarian interests instead of core Conservative principles of government.
After much quiet deliberation and thought, I have decided I really, really like Newt. With me it was between Cain and Newt. Newt is brilliant and just has that extra oomph I like in people.
He says he has 200 Executive Orders he will sign the minute he is sworn in as president. Executive Order #6 will abolish all the czars and will start signing them as the Obamas are getting on the aircraft to fly them back to Chicago.
At this particular gathering, someone in the audience asked him about the U.N. As he was answering the question, there was so much screaming for joy and applause, I couldnt catch all his words. I take it he is going to take us out of there. Did anyone catch this and relate it back to me? Thank you.

I agree. Newt is on the rise. Good showing for Cain though.
Nevada?
Home of Dingy Harry?
Like I give a smelly Obama about that place.
When they eliminate Dingy in whatever manner they choose (I promise not to look), Nevada may once again be readmitted into the union.
Gingrich/Cain. That’s my “Hail Mary” for the Cou try.
Exactly, remember this people, the same "lots of mormons" who gave us marxist HARRY REID are trying to give us RINO flip/flop Mitt Romney.
There is an old mormon "prophecy" about a day when the Constitution would hang by a thread and a mormon would rise up and save the day.
Romney isn't him, mormons, the only thing he'll take to the white house is a pair of scissors !
I prefer Cain/Gingrich for too many good reasons, but I see where you are coming from.
P.S.
Newt also said he wants John Bolton on his staff.
Yes, that was the Western Leadership Conference Straw Poll in NV:
(Cain 31%, Romney 29%, Gingrich 20%, Paul 10%, Perry 4%)

Thanks.
Isn’t NV a caucus state? I thought it was done at one location and based on organization. If that is the case, look for Romney to get “West Virginia’d” again here. The rest of the conservatives (if they’re smart) will team up with whomever is running the strongest and topple Romney. Ron Paul, will be, Ron Paul.
Predictions:
Leading Conservative Candidate: 39%
Romney: 31%
Paulunatics: 22% (they got around 15-20% last time here)
Stragglers that won’t give up their other candidate: 8%
This is why winning NV in the General will be tough. The GOP makeup here is heavily fractured.
