Like it or not, Kadaffi (who knows how it spelled!) kept a group of warring tribes from each others’ throats, through bribery and intimidation. We’ll see what the new overlords do to keep peace; we’ll see if France and Italy get their oil, or if sabotage puts a damper on that.
I pity our fine Military for being sworn to follow the orders of this CiC... I do not blame them in any way. He was an evil man from everything I’ve heard but I have also had a horrible feeling about his death. If we can sanction such animalism, what are we? Who are we? I have nothing against a death penalty but in a humane way.
I am astonished they didn’t cut off his head, stick it on a pike and take it on a victory tour of the country...
