When the time comes and there's 'profit' to be made, the coin shops will be buying them. They'll never be worth less than a nickel, regardless.

You may be in the situation of "profitably uloading" them ten or twenty at a time for cans of soup or tuna fish.

When the cost of having no spendable, accepted currency might be starvation.

Is there profit in continued life? I'd say yes.
