There is no shortage of RINOs (Rick Perry is the poster boy) jockeying to be the Anti-Romney.

You know, just because YOU post this, doesn't make it true.

If you like Cain, go vote for him. In the meantime, you would do better service to him by advancing his positive qualities.

Rick Perry is conservative. You just have decided the jump on the train.

Maybe if you can figure out what Cain's positions really are, you can actually sell him. But like Romney, they seem to change with whoever he is speaking to.

Perry’s positions during elections are not the problem. Perry’s actions while not currently running are why I do not consider him a conservative and why I cannot support him.

Just because you say Rick Perry is conservative doesn't make it so either. His affection for open borders and crony capitalism alone disqualify him from wearing that label.

Herman Cain is solidly conservative on both issues.

I think Rick is a nice enough fellow, but I've seen the same governing style in our last president from Texas. We'll get nice rhetoric out of him, probably good supreme court picks, but little or no border enforcement or fiscal restraint.
